Privacy statement

Paradigm Festival (hereafter: the event) is organized by Paradigm VOF, incorporated and located in (9723BD) Groningen, at the Helsinki Street 6 and registered under Chamber of Commerce number 62454056.

Paradigm respects the privacy of its customers and all visitors of the website www.paradigmfestival.com (hereafter: the website) and / or the Event (hereafter collectively, the visitors).
Paradigm will ensure that all personal information is kept confidential. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the legal provisions as required by the Data Protection Act (Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens).

Applicability

This privacy statement provides information on the processing of personal data by Paradigm and covers only the use of personal data from visitors to the website and/or the event.
This privacy statement does not apply to third parties websites which Paradigm is linking to on www.paradigmfestival.com and in its mailings. For the privacy Policy of the third parties please visit their respective websites.

Which personal data is used by Paradigm?

When purchasing tickets for the event, visitors can be asked asked (whether or not by the (pre)sale agency) for personal information such as name, (email) address and telephone number. These data entries are required. Paradigm receives the obtained data from the (pre)sale agency.
Additionally, Paradigm can use personal data of visitors, such as name, (email) address and telephone number, which is obtained directly from visitors who placed orders via Paradigm’s website.
Also browsing data from visitors of the website can be obtained by Paradigm (including IP address, date and time of visit).

What are your personal data used for?

Paradigm uses the data in the first place to implement the agreements with visitors as well for the internal administration. More specifically Paradigm collects and uses personal data:
For the purpose of sending tickets or products purchased at Paradigm to the rightfull owner;
To inform visitors via for example a newsletter about changes regarding tickets and / or by Paradigm organized concerts and event.
For the purpose of starting, maintaining and improving the contractual relationship with its (potential) customers, or to improve the services and products; and / or
For the application and implementation of legal obligations.
The data will not be used for purposes other than those described in the above.

Paradigm will not provide any information to third parties without explicit authorization of the visitor. Exceptions are made where it is necessary in order to accomplish the agreement with the visitor, for example, to send tickets or to improve the services and products, or when required by law.

Paradigm sends newsletters by email. On the footer of each newsletter you receive from Paradigm, you have the option to unsubscribe. If you choose this option, you will no longer receive newsletters from Paradigm.

Any backup of the stored data created by Paradigm for the optimal functioning of our systems will only be used for recovering the systems in case of a failure.

Browsing and clickstream data

Browser data that Paradigm collects can be saved and used to analyse visitor and usage statistics of the website and website optimization.
Browsing data are treated (if possible) anonymous. Only anonymous data can be transferred to third parties such as Google Analytics.

Cookies and Google Analytics

Paradigm reserves the right, like most websites, to gather information through the use of so-called “cookies” in order to make navigation through the website easier. Cookies are small pieces of information (files) which a website stores on a computer. The website instructs the web browser on which you open the website (e.g. Internet Explorer) to store these cookies on your computer. Cookies can be turned off through the Web browser settings menu.
Paradigm uses Google Analytics to analyse the use of the website. In order to use this Google service, this information, including IP address, is forwarded to Google. Paradigm has no influence on what Google does with the obtained information.

Social networks

The website features buttons that are linked to social networks like Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Facebook. Via the buttons these social networking websites can place cookies.The respective social networks are responsible for the use and provision of data obtained in this way. For this the privacy statements of the social networks are applicable.

Retention period

Paradigm retains personal data not longer than necessary for the implementation of the agreements and in any case no longer than two years after the agreement has ended, unless it is necessary to comply with the legal retention of traffic data.

Access and correction

Visitors can send any question to Paradigm by a written request via the email address [email protected] for inspection correction and / or removal of (personal) data.
Visitors should ensure that Paradigm has the correct personal data.

Modifications

Paradigm reserves the right to adjust or modify the rules and statements made in this privacy statement. Visitors are advised to read the privacy policies regularly regarding changes.
