How to get to Paradigm Festival
At the edge of Groningen’s industrial heritage district, on the former sugar factory grounds: Paradigm Festival takes place in one of the city’s most distinctive urban redevelopment areas. A raw, open-air setting where industrial history meets contemporary electronic culture.

How can I get there by car?
Enter the gate at the site where the Opus is, round to the right, take the turn on your left and go until you see the Zeefgebouw. Please drive along nice and easy. There is plenty of parking space for cars outside the building. Walk towards our festival site. Keep left of the massive chimney and keep going along the left side of the Stadslab building. Walk straight ahead for 75 meters, take a right turn and then it's a straight shot towards the entrance (check out the instruction video). Parking is free.
How do I get there by train or bus?
From Groningen railway station (~15–20 min)
- Walk to bus stop Hoofdstation (2 min)
- Bus 5 to Zernike → halte Suikerlaan (8–10 min)
- Walk to Paradigm Festival terrein (5 min)
- Cost: ± €2–€4 (OV-chipkaart / OVpay)

How do I get there by bike?
A new bike path has been created to reach het Suikerterrein more quickly, called het Suikerzijde Pad. You can park your bike along this route, just follow the signs. Traffic stewards will be present to guide you (check out the instruction video). Dropped off by taxi? Cross the pedestrian bridge, turn left, and walk past the Zeefgebouw and Stadslab to reach the festival site. Just follow the signs, you’ll find the entrance with no problem.
